Avalanche Beet

Avalanche Beet is an open-pollinated beet variety with creamy white roots that are best harvested around 2-3" in diameter. An AAS winner in 2015, this unique, white beet variety boasts all the sweetness of traditional beets without the earthy or somewhat bitter flavors. This makes it a great option for eating raw or roasting. Avalanche Beets are great when sliced thin to add a crunch to your favorite salad. They also taste great when quartered and roasted in the oven with other garden favorites like broccoli, cauliflower, or sweet potatoes.
